Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop and maintain positive revenue-generating customer relationships
  • Present, promote and sell services to existing and prospective customers
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors, and internal team
  • Perform cost-­benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Act as a liaison between the client and internal project team by seamlessly communicating needs.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Identify and grow new business opportunities within current projects and existing networks
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets and outcomes

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years proven work experience directly selling a service
  • Strong experience in the private sector - with an understanding of other sectors  as well (e.g. public, non-profit)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience working with internal teams to deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Ability to ensure clients understand CP process, products and value while delivering a transformational and memorable client experience
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Experience facilitating groups from various viewpoints
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Technology or Change Management experience a plus
  • Agency and marketing experience a plus
  • Willingness to travel ~50%
  • Good sense of humor

This is a full-time position based in Washington, DC.
